The Quantitative Imaging Group (QIG) is dedicated to the development of improved medical imaging methods for quantifying disease. We are based in the Centre for Medical image Computing (CMIC) at University College London.
Blood-Brain Barrier Function
We are researching methods for quantifying subtle blood brain barrier damage using MRI. These methods may be of use in characterising a wide range of neurological conditions, including dementia, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and tumours.
Lung MRI
We are researching methods for measuring lung structure and function using MRI.
Tissue Oxygenation
We are researching methods for determining the level of oxygen delivery to different organs and in cancer.
