Professor Geoff Parker leads the Quantitative Imaging Group. His background is in imaging physics, with a focus on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), where he has an extensive track record in using MRI to provide quantitative measurements of tissue morphology and physiology. He has made contributions to the fields of dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI), diffusion MRI and oxygen-enhanced MRI, applied in a range of disease areas, including neurology, oncology and lung disease.
Geoff is keen on technology translation, and founded the successful SME Bioxydyn in 2009 and recently co-founded Queen Square Analytics. He is also Deputy Director of the UCL Institute of Healthcare Engineering.
